蛋白质结构模型和功能预测:I-TASSER工具的使用

I-TASSER是一款用于预测蛋白质结构和功能的工具,网站链接:https://zhanglab.ccmb.med.umich.edu/I-TASSER/
具体描述如下:
I-TASSER (Iterative Threading ASSEmbly Refinement) is a hierarchical approach to protein structure and function prediction. It first identifies structural templates from the PDB by multiple threading approach LOMETS, with full-length atomic models constructed by iterative template fragment assembly simulations. Function insights of the target are then derived by threading the 3D models through protein function database BioLiP. I-TASSER (as 'Zhang-Server') was ranked as the No 1 server for protein structure prediction in recent community-wide CASP7, CASP8, CASP9, CASP10, CASP11, and CASP12 experiments. It was also ranked as the best for function prediction in CASP9. The server is in active development with the goal to provide the most accurate structural and function predictions using state-of-the-art algorithms. Please report problems and questions at I-TASSER message board and our developers will answer the questions.
使用步骤很简单,先把要预测的蛋白质的氨基酸序列黏贴在框框里,如下图红色框框所示:
填写邮箱,密码(如果之前没注册过的话,需要点击password那栏的here进行注册,注册完邮箱会发送密码),ID可以随意写,最后,点击“Run I-TASSER”。1~2天邮件会收到结果通知。
